Newport Beach Hotel And Suites

we stayed in the historic hotel, old and it shows wood floors noisy, small window to see ocean, and disappointing.

Beautiful ocean location, but a cars ride away from downtown. The hotel did not offer a shuttle service. Along with an ocean view, you also get the noise of pretty heavy car/truck traffic passing the hotel starting early in the morning. The pool/jacuzzi were located in the suite section of the hotel. you have to walk outside and across the street to pool if staying on the hotel side. This hotel has a newer hotel across the street, Priceline rate was in the older hotel which was modernized and very friendly staff, older hotel has restaurant/bar on the 1st floor with good view and friendly staff. Staff in restaurant was short handed due to someone calling in sick. A little hectic for one lady to handle, but we understood and took it in stride.

Clean and very comfortable room. Attentive staff. Great location. Easy parking.

We really enjoyed our stay here even though we didn't have a ocean view - it was worth it to have a common living room between the bedrooms. It was clean and quiet and the staff was very friendly. We loved the rooftop hot tub and fire pit - great addition! ...read more

We stayed in the historic building, & I think it was the worst room. Our laptop wouldn't work, room was so cramped, the bathroom door hit the toilet when opened. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they stayed in the newer building with suites (those looked very nice from the outside).
